Early morning, a driver will pick you up to proceed to NAIA Airport and fly to Palawan Province. Your destination is none other than Coron, so you will land at Busuanga airport, and from there we will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit the city of Coron, you will have the opportunity to bathe in a natural hot spring (Maquinit) and enjoy a nice panoramic view from the top of Mount Tapyas which overlooks the city and its bay. The sunset there is simply stunning. After this, you will return to the hotel, and it will be dinner time.
You will be able to get a good look at the magnificent karstic landscapes that characterize Palawan. The island has earned the title of the most beautiful island in the world 3 years in a row, between 2015 and 2018. Many islands surround Coron, so you will go aboard a banca - the traditional Filipino fisherman's boat, with its two bamboo outriggers - to visit some of them.
For this day by the sea, you will make several stops, particularly to access the Lake Kayangan, the twin lagoons, and SietePescados. After a beautiful day at sea, you will return to the hotel.
Coron was the scene of major battles during World War II between the Americans and the Japanese. These maritime battles have left their mark as many ships were torpedoed and consequently sunk. They are still visible today, especially as the region is not known for its great depths. It is therefore possible to observe some of these wrecks without special equipment, but with a simple snorkeling gear. Today, you are free to rest and organize your day as you see fit or you can embark again for a day at sea during which you will have the opportunity to observe one or two of these Japanese wrecks which are only a few meters deep. Other very beautiful beaches will be on the menu such as Malcapuya, Banana island and bulog dos island.
Around noon, after check-out, you will leave the hotel and head to Busuanga Airport for your flight back to Manila/Cebu.
